About the competition

We are excited to announce we are running the Tofu Ink Arts Press Chapbook Competition 2022-2023 for an unpublished chapbook of 20 pages of poems. The contest is open to new, emerging, and established writers. The winner will receive book publication, and 10 copies of the printed book and it will appear as an E Reader as well. Our chapbooks are perfect-bound, feature striking cover designs, each receive an ISBN, and are distributed internationally through Amazon as well as on our website.  If any royalties they will be split 50/50 between Tofu Ink Arts Press and Author.  The contest closes in December and we will choose 1-3 books to publish. Please send your manuscript through Submittable with your name and title page in 12 Times New Roman with a brief bio and work description. Author reserves all rights to the work and the pieces can be simultaneously published elsewhere but not in book form. Tofu Ink will be authorized to promote the book and have the publishing rights credit. Tofu Ink Arts Press, a not for profit celebratory venture, is the brainchild of poet Brian L. Jacobs. Tofu Ink aims at publishing poems and other arts of un humdrum’d inclusive rhizomatic errant possibilities. We support work of established and emerging poets and artists. We strive for tri annual issues.  We are looking for polished art and poetics that are absorbed in possibilities.  We are committed to amplifying voices of the under-represented and marginalized. Art makes you think about thinking…ABSORB POSSIBILITIES!
