About the competition
The Hastings Book Festival celebrates writers and lovers of the written word – a welcoming and open place for everyone. Our first festival took place in August 2018, and has now become a regular and welcomed event on the local calendar.
Entries are now open for the 2023 Hastings Book Festival poetry competition. The poems can be on any subject.

- A single entry fee is £7.50 for either contest.
- You can enter more than once, and we offer a discount when submitting multiple entries together.
